Except that it is what is stated in the MACR as the "last sighted" position, crash place could be hundred of kilometers away. And loss position in MACR are often inaccurate too.

Re: Crash place:19/03/44

Hello Machel,

Are you just seeking US a/c ?
How about RAFSAAF B24 Liberator losses that date ?

19th March 1944
178 Sqdn RAF
EV812 went down into the sea.
But
BZ948, crew bailed.
Both Pilot and Co-Pilot were SAAF men.
5 became POW.
2 evaded
And
F/Sgt. Desmond Maurice TURNER was shot dead.
SAAF a/c KH244 "Q" was lost on 19th March 1945.

See below:

454th B.GROUP
MACR 3506:serial=42-52125 "Homesick Angel"...crash in Yougoslavia.
No info on it.
Do you have this MACR?

MACR 3294:serial=42-52229 "War Weary Wanda"...crash in Yougoslavia.
MACR is not on Fold3. Two airmen bailed over Yugoslavia and evaded.
Airmen:
Albert Hill
Howard Severson
Frank Turner
Maurice Frantz
Leroy Miller
Charles Ponder
Robert Winner
and maybe Clarence Deal, Donald Furrer, Thomas Parsons
- were from 454bg 736bs (apart from last 3) and were killed on that day. They could be from this plane, but I cannot check it.
Do you have this MACR?
Region of crash is listed as Slovenia, for same men place Senovo is listed.

MACR 3299:serial=42-52272"Rebel Revenge"...crash in Vanetina?Slovenia?.
I have info as Dravograd, Slovenia.
Entire crew KIA/DED.

MACR 3466:serial=41-28659 "Virginie Annie".
Brežice, Slovenia
One airmen evaded, other is DED, remaining POW.

MACR 3293:serial=42-52225 "...shot down or accident?
It could be near Novo Mesto, Slovenia.
I have some Escape statements, but I need MACR to confirm it.
Do you this MACR?

Re: Crash place:19/03/44

Regarding 42-52225. The pilot was reported as Aubrey L Edwards. Edwards is listed in the POW lists for Stalag Luft I. Here is a link to when he was first reported missing.

https://www.newspapers.com/clip/22393062/

A couple of other newspaper articles report he played saxophone in the POW band at Stalag Luft I.

The 454th BG seems to list two MACRs associated with this aircraft, 3293 and 3284. I can't find 3293 on fold3. 3284 is for a different plane, but on one page it mentions 42-52225 and Aubrey L Edwards included in a list of losses.

Lowell West is listed as the co-pilot of 42-52225 ("Hot Rock"/"Moo Juice?") and there is a story on page 8 about his evasion here:
