Mosquito crash
On another board a person is asking about a Mosquito crash near Barroway Drove in Oct 1943.
The Barroway Drove History Group is trying to identify the crew members who were killed in order to put them on a new war memorial. Any help would be appreciated. |

Re: Mosquito crash
Hello,
Any idea as to a date or perhaps early, middle or late part of the month ? There were at least 36 events with Mosquito's in October 1943. HAVE JUST SEEN THE THREAD ON WW2AIRCRAFT.NET JANICE SAYS THERE THE EVENT WAS 1st OCTOBER 1944. Alex Last edited by Alex Smart; 17th April 2017 at 19:12. |

Re: Mosquito crash
They had got down to three possible but the nearest that seemed to fit the details was on the 9th. That is the last I read.
Had spent time checking 1943 so although it was an interesting exercise as it is I will leave this search for others now. Alex |
