Monogram Aviation Publications website down?

Hi Gruppe,

While looking for new information regarding the publication date of Monongram Monarch-4 FOCKE-WULF Ta 152 I noticed that the Monogram Aviation Publications website is down. I first noticed this a couple of days ago and tonight the website is still down. Is this a bad omen?

Does anyone have any information regarding the website, the publisher or the release date of Monarch-4?

Re: Monogram Aviation Publications website down?

Hi Huib...

This was the response I got from Monogram on the 16th August...

Quote:
Greetings Preferred Customer,

This update is in response to your recent inquiry. Rumors to the effect that Monogram may reprint a couple of titles that are currently out-of-print are mistaken.

Site Update. There are a number of important revisions and updates to be incorporated, but it is presently not feasible to implement these changes. However, we plan to accomplish all of these changes, at one time, by the end of September.

Monarch-4 is now Monarch-3. We apologize for the exceptionally protracted publication schedule for this title. However, during the next 30-45 days we believe we will have positive news regarding this title’s long-delayed publication date.

Still Available: Official United States Aircraft Colors 1908-1993. A booklet of 15-printed pages and 159 genuine paint samples. Check our website, or contact Monogram for complete details. Not sold in stores, it is only available direct from Monogram. Quantities strictly limited.

Publisher’s Advance Notice: Monogram will be altering the numbering sequence and subjects of the Monarch series to accommodate a new four-volume set dedicated to the Messerschmitt Bf 109. The new sequence is as follows:
  • Monarch-3 is Focke-Wulf Ta 152 (old Monarch-4)
  • Monarch-4 is now Messerschmitt Bf 109 A, B, C, D, E, S and T
  • Monarch-5 is Messerschmitt Bf 109 F, X and Z.
Additional information on these and other new volumes will be made available as soon as feasible.

Moving? Please notify us if your current address is expected to change.

The information contained herein is updated bi-weekly.

Customer Service
Monogram Aviation Publications
The protracted delivery has been extensively covered on the Monogram Aviation Publication section of the LEMB. Also, the website appears to be working tonight albeit a tad slow...
