Flugbuch Selhorn

Some time ago Peter C. Smith published excerpts from it in 'Stuka Squadron', when I contacted him in this matter he said he no longer has access to the Flugbuch, nor to the co called Archive Selhorn (Stuka 77).

As the Flugbuch contains information very valuable for me, I wonder if anybody here have access to copy of it?

regards,
Pawel

Re: Flugbuch Selhorn

Hello Pawel,

Selhorn was a member of the StG.77. He lived near Lübeck but now he is dead. For 2 year ago a woman sell pictures, Flugbücher, medals and much more of the Sellhorn archiv on ebay. I buy more the 700 pictures of the archive. All pictures shows planes and members of the StG.77. In my archiv I have the KTB of the StG.77 and more information about the Geschwader.

Regards
Mirko

Hi Mirko,

that's very interesting because some years ago - and until today
if I'm not wrong - hundreds of reproduction photos of St.G. 77
were sold around the world as original photos. A seller was from Lübeck.

With the best wishes,
Sven.

Re: Flugbuch Selhorn

Hallo Sven,

Hi Mirko,

I try it in English so everybody at this board can understand what
we're talking about. Some years ago I've also bought some photos
of St.G. 77. There were also some certificates and documents for sell
but I've found some fakes in this group. I know that most of this photos
were copied often, some of them were sticked into old albums as
original wartime! So it could be that some collectors own great St.G 77
albums full of postwar repros!
The seller changed the ebay account often and lots of buyers were very
happy about what they've won. Because of the old Agfa photo paper
I think that the original negatives are still left. I don't know who owns
them today. But very interesting is that the selling of the St.G. 77
reproduction photos ended a long time ago. We only can speculate
about the reasons...

I hope I could help a little bid and with the best wishes,
Sven.
