Ju88 (8180) 4D+BH 1/KG30 3 May 1941

Hi guys

The above Ju88 belly-landed near Sheringham in Norfolk early on 3 May 1941. Fw Geiger was the pilot and apparently the air gunner was a 53-year-old Major with a WWI Iron Cross, on his first (and last) operational flight.

Is this correct? And if so, who was he?

Cheers
Brian
