From the cross-over period between the 'B' and 'C' variants. There is also photographic evidence of a 'C' aircraft with a 'B' style canopy. Case of using up existing old parts on a new variant, almost certainly.

Prototypes and Testbeds.

Possibly - Bf 110C-1 DB 601 A WNr 945 D-AUCS - 6.39 Erprobung DB 601 A in Rechlin. Later, Bf 110 C-1 DB 601 A WNr 945 GK-AY 11.39 bis 6.40 in Rechlin.
