Needed information (last unit, crew, Kennung Nr. etc. ....) for aircraft: Ernst Heinkel Flugzeugwerke G.m.b.H. Rostock Typ: He 111 Fabr.Nr.: 254 <=== (= Werk Nr. ?) Baujahr.: 1938 BR Kris

I am a bit curious about your Arado WNr 301 being an He 111. I have that and many around it as an Arado 66 The first Arado built He 111 is according to Volker Koos WNr 1282 Cheers Stig

No need be curious, likely garbled, (old) out dated (so likely wrongly attributed factory)

This Heikel data plate has been found in area North-East of Poland.
So Fabrik Nr. is not the same as Werk Number ?

Not "Airframe Number" (as you may think of as "Werk.Nr."), more likely a component number, in my opinion.
But twist here is that many german planes (both He 111 and Ju 88) had also other Factory Numbers, in addition to an unsual "Werk Nr." Plates exist that show both, types I know are both He 111 and Ju 88. -Ed

Are you sure it does not state "Fahr.", as opposed to "Fabr."?
Fahr. is an abbreviation for Fahrgestell... Mike
