I had an enquiry about him elsewhere, thought I would share this here:

107 sqn, 4 losses this day: L8733/OM- of P/O S G Thornton and one other KIA 3rd crewman POW, L8748/OM-K of F/O R C Rotheram & crew all KIA, plus P4905/OM- of F/O W H Edwards and one other POW, 3rd crewman KIA and P4914 of P/O O H Keedwell and crew all KIA. Framm is generally credited with P4905

Fight against GC III/2(four losses)

Curtis n°247 (c/n 13717) crashed Montceaux-les Provins (77) Cdt Frederic Geille burned

Curtis n°236 (c/n 13706) crashed La Noue (77) Slt.Andre Lansoy wounded

Curtis n°264 (c/n 13734) crashed Chamguyon (51)

Curtis n°262 (c/n 13732) forced landing after fight Vaupoisson S/Lt Jacques Dartevelle.

One of the four by Erich Gerlitz (I/JG1) claims as Bloch.
Others 3 by Framm(2) and Kaiser 1)

Not really important but the rank of Maurice Romey is Adjutant.
His nice biography written by Alain Coste is in the issue n°120 of Avions (2003)

Hi Nick,
In relation to L8748/OM-K of F/O R C Rotheram & crew all KIA, this is incorrect... I met Ronny Rotheram in England in 2000 and I can assure you he was well alive.

Hello ,

L8748 crashed at Soignies , P4905 at Bettincourt , N2335 at Rosieres 20 km sw of Brussels , L8733 at Hodeige and P4914 at Voroux-Goreux , all in Belgium
