w/c Walter MBE
Hi,
Anyone have any info on a W/C Walter MBE, mentioned flying Aug '41, 10Gp area. Any leads welcome Cheers Jerry

Two possibilities but this is the most likely: 19232, Walter, Cyril F/O 1 July 1925 F/L 27 Feb 1929 S/L 1 Dec 1936 W/C 1 Jan 1940 The outsider is 32237, Walter, Ernest Luis Acton, but he would have to rise two ranks from Sept 1939. On line Gazette should pick up the award of MBE for either man. Regards Ross
