C type Camouflage drawings for Allied Aircraft.

Hi Guys.
During my research in our Archives in SA I came upon mention that Allied a/c must be painted along the C Type drawings for specific a/c types, ie Single engine monoplane, twin monoplanes.
There were no drawings in the file, but references were made to c209, c210 and c212.
In Brit Aviation colours of WWII, A&AP there are camouflage drawings, but no referneces as to what they were called.
Could that be C Drawings?.
If so, then I am happy, but I would like to know if any other Air Ministry drawings with C prefixes exist.

Stefaan

Can you provide more information?

Do you have dates for these statements/dcouments?

Is it a British document that you have seen or is it a SAAF document?

I am not aware that any aircraft were manufactured in SA in WW2 is there any indication that the statement applies to repaired a/c or perhaps to American a/c being re-assembled in SA?

To my knowledge all the stand alone drawings issued by the RAF to do with C&M were "Air Diagrams" so they had an "AD" prefix. The drawing you refer to in the book "British Aviation Colours" seems to have started life in a DTD Technical Circular probably towards the end of 1941 I am not aware of it having a separate or stand alone existence with a "C" prefix.

Hi Steve.
They are British drawings.
Please check the notes below.
Hope it helps.
I am sure it is from British Technical drawings.
