The book "2nd Tactical Air Force, vol three" lists several 69 Sqn losses for 1945, but none for 3 March 1945, and I could not find Wellington NC561. The book only covers operational losses, but friendly fire casualties should be present.

NC561 belonged to No 69Sq but was lost 2 April 1945 when it taxied off peritrack at night and its undercarriage collapsed at Melsbroek

Cheers

On March 3, 1945 the 69 Squadron operated the following 6 Wellington Mk. XIIIs:

381
537
762
609
147
535

Probably NC..., or MP... number(s).
No losses.
