Tommy Lynch TE Bomber 10 June 1943

I have pencilled in my Olynyk "Stars and Bars" that this is a "Sally" but have no idea why I did this. The bomber(?) was shot down at 1015 near Bena Bena in NG. Given that JAAF bombers were flying in the area it seems logical but logic has never served me well in the past.

Was it a "Sally" or other JAAF bomber?

On another note Tommy Lynch is credited in the 35th FG War Diary with one (or possibly two) Zekes damaged on 20 May 1942 at 0755. Did he later claim two Zekes destroyed at 0900 as per S&B?

best regards

Keith
