KG 27 'Boelke' Tunic To Air Gunner

For Sale - a very nice KG 27 'Boelke' tunic to an Obergefreiten airgunner. Tunic was bought by me approx 7-8 years ago and came with scans of photos of the original airman, but as with the old 'buy the item, not the story' saying I am selling this based on its own merits (The tunic bears no name however the following scans will be supplied to the buyer: 2 photos of the airman in his fliegerbluse, his KIA crash listing, a photo of a crash landed HE-111 which may of been his aircraft (but as the side code can not be seen there is no way of definitely knowing) & 2 award citations.)

I believe the eagle & tabs (and all other insignia including a lovely embroidered cuffband) were period applied. There are no stitches going through the lining behind the eagle & the tabs may of been period re-alligned after the removal of collar tresse (the 2 photos of the airman show him wearing two fliegerbluses - one with tresse and a later one without.)
The collar shows a nice level of wear where the airman's neck has rubbed against it, there is a small spot of wear near the left wingtip of the eagle and 2 small areas of wear behind the left sleeve near the shoulder seam - but nothing that detracts from a very lovely tunic to a - if you do believe the provenance - well decorated aircrewman (EK II & I / Bomber Clasp In Silver / Wound Badge In Black / Air Gunners Badge / Romanian Crusade Against Communism - all visible on the photo scans.)
The camera flash has made the tunic appear bluer than it actually is - the second & subsequent photos show the true colour better.

Please note - the awards shown are for display purposes only. Under the flight clasp award loops there is another set for a small ribbon bar.

Price: £1050 - exactly what I paid for it.
(Mailing by insured & tracked shipping included)

Payment Methods:
UK - Cheque / Bank Transfer / Paypal (+4%)
Overseas - Bank Transfer / Paypal (+4%)

There will be no reductions as I would rather keep this lovely piece of history than make a loss (other than shipping fees.) However I am willing to accept payment in 2 instalments.
