Re: Book Short Stirling de first of the Heavy Bombers

Hello,

This is the book:

Short Stirling The First of the RAF Heavy Bombers
Lombardi,Pino
N.p.:Fonthill Media Ltd.,2015
H/C, D/W, 416 pages, printed on excellent coated stock.

A remarkable (and expensive) book, in some ways, which not many people own, or have read.

I have the book, but no scanner.

What is it that you want?

Col.

Jukka,

The photograph of F/L Norman Winch (and crew), is on p.129. Winch was shot down on 1/2 June 1942 (The 2nd 1,000 bomber raid, on Essen), in No.7 Sqn Stirling I N3750. All the crew became PoWs (BCL3/109).
