What part of a Me 109 is this?

Hi All,

found a Me 109 part at a crash site and hope somebody can identify what it was.
It was completely Yellow. Dimentions are 9cm x 7cm. Fixed with 3 scews.

It has has 2 small holes and probably something was fixed at it.

Thanks in advance for your support.
Rolf

It looks rusted. If so, it's steel. Which would limit what piece it could be.
