Blackburn Botha lost 8th April 1942
Can anyone find details of the serial for a Blackburn Botha that is said to have ditched due to engine failure in the Bristol Channel on 8th April 1942, 500 yards off Nash Point (near Barry Dock?) with the loss of the pilot, Flying Officer Reginald William Sheppard (89621)?
The CWGC has his death recorded for 8th April 1942 so I am confident of the date but not the unit or the serial number.
