St.Kz. on a Klemm 35

Hello,

I have the Flugbuch of the later DKIG winner Obl. Kornelius Mildenberger.
Now I again have met the wall and would like to ask for some help, if possible.

I simply cannot figure out the first letter of the Kl 35 coding. The red stamp says Fliegerhorstkommandantur Prenzlau and is dated 1940.

Please see attached scan.

Thanks in advance,

Christian

Hello,

I see only one possibility, PB+KZ, but I have no data for 1941....

Regards.

Possibly OB+KZ. A look at the way other letters and numbers are written suggests this.

The Kl 35 wears VB+KZ, which was the unit code of 2.(F)/ObdL from March 1940 until early 1942. The Staffel was based at Orly from January until May 1941.

Would any reader venture a guess as to the destination (place name) of the overland flight from Orly (Paris)?

Re: St.Kz. on a Klemm 35

Thank you for your help digging deeper into this.

There are some stamps in the logbook

1. Fliegerhorstkommandantur Prenzlau
2. Truppendienststelle FP Nr. L 14354
3 Fliegerhorstkommandantur Bromberg Flugleitung

Again thank you,

Christian
