Book question
John Foreman's book, RAF Fighter Command Victory Claims, is this just strictly Fighter Command, or are other commands included, like the AASF in France? Is the intention, as subsequent volumes are written, to include other commands or Just Fighter Command?

Book question
Hi John
The best book yet on this subject. The Book is not strictly Fighter Command. It also in this periode covers the British Expeditionary Force both in Norway and France. The author seems to indicate that units as 2ndn TAF as well will be included in further volums. Format of the table is simple - Date - Squadron (acending order) - Own aircraft type (Spit, Hurr etc) - Organisation (FC or BEF) - Rank and pilot name - Claim (Enemy type - Destroyed or Destroed unconfirmed -or Destroyed) - Location - Time Very interesting to see the claims for 15-08-1940. Complete overclaiming against Luftflotte 5 in the north. Greetings from Norway and happy new year. Knut |
