Messerschmitt Me 262 of KG & KG(J) units - JaPo
http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...highlight=Japo
Just got this title earlier this week. In general the usual high quality that I expect from JaPo, but... First I might be missing something, but I doesn't look like this volume covers the chequered bands in any depth, it doesn't seem to go beyond descriptive. I was expecting a little more on this particular subject, also because of this thread: http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showth...highlight=Japo Secondly 20 pages of "walk around details" is IMHO a lot more than is needed to illustrate the points being made in the captions, feels a bit like a filler. Nonetheless good book, no brainer for the 262 enthusiast.

I enjoyed the book a lot. JaPo's people are brilliant at spotting important details in photos but those details aren't always so visible after reproduction of the original photos. It's not their fault, just one of the limitations of printing technology, I think.
