Leutnant Peter Horn, JG51
Leutnant Peter Horn was attached to 1./JG51 from 1941 to 1943. He is credited with 11 aerial victories on the Eastern Front.
During his Luftwaffe service, Peter Horn is decorated with Iron Cross 2. Klasse and Iron Cross 1. Klasse. Can anyone help finding documentation for the 11 victories? Peter Horn was one of the 8 Danish airmen accepted to do service with the Luftwaffe. Thanks in adwance. Orla |

The 11 victories are as far as I remember quoted in Aders, Gebhard and Werner Held, Jagdgeschwader 51 "Mölders" : eine Chronik : Berichte - Erlebnisse – Dokumente, Motorbuch Verlag, 1985 (ISBN: 3613010453). The information is also quoted in Neulen, Hans Werner, In the Skies of Europe. Air Forces Allied to the Luftwaffe 1939-1945, The Crowood Press Ltd., 2000. But I have seen no reference to further (1st hand) sources. Tony Wood's claims records are of little help here, as different pilots named Horn are credited with 9 victories, but only one by a 9./JG51 pilot (a Gefreiter). Regards Mikkel Plannthin
