ID of crew in field grave 1940 WC?

Hello,

Does anyone have any information that would help ID this wrecksite and field grave, probably from the Western Campaign of May-June, 1940.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...OIBUAA:US:1123

Any help with this one would be appreciated. Perhaps there have been other photos of this grave on eBay?

Thanx,

The date on the right looks like "5.9.40"?

Re: ID of crew in field grave 1940 WC?

Would there be a field burial in September?

I would have thought in an occupied country in September, the bodies would have been recovered and buried formerly.

I have only seen these field burials during operations or advance/retreats - mainly in WC and also North Africa.

Besides that, can't help.

Metal prop - DB601? - 2/3 crew - Bf110?

regards

Mark
