St Kap for 1.(F)/123 in the spring of 1940

Hi,

I'm trying to confirm that Oblt. Mühlbauer was the St Kap of 1.(F)/123 during the spring of 1940. Does anyone have his first name. If he was the St Kap, did he fly the Do17P 4U+AH?

Thanx

Larry,

Oblt. Mühlbauer was Staffelkapitän of the 1.(F)/123. He did 24.07.40 when his Ju 88A-1/F 4U+EH crashed near Brest due to technical Problems.
His first name or further details to this accident are not available.

Oblt Hans Mühlbauer flew with 1.(F)/123 until Jul40 which ties in with Merlin's loss info.

Thanks for the info.

Does anyone know when Mühlbauer became St. Kap. of 1.(F)/123, or when he first joined that unit?

Can anyone confirm the aircraft codes of the aircraft that he normally flew?

Thanx

I can't answer any of the above questions, I didn't know he was St.Kap., I only know he served with 1.(F)/123 until Jul40.
