Hi Frank,

Have you ever looked into producing them as cd-roms (preferably as searchable PDF files)?

Dear Art,

I have got just few remarks on crash places on January 20 1945:

Kohau = it is German name of Kyjov, located nearby Tachov (German Tachau), Czech Republic, nearby German Border. During WW2 territory inhabited by Germans.

Taucha = probably miswriting and should be Tachau (in German), contemporary Czech town named Tachov nearby German Border. During WW2 territory inhabited by Germans.

Dreihacken = contemporary village Tři Sekery, nearby Spa Town Mariánské Lázně (In German Marienbad). Not far from Czech-Germany Border. During WW2 territory inhabited by Germans.

Best

Michal, Czech Republic

Michal,
Thank you for the information on where the locations of the crashed aircraft were found. The Czech historian mentioned that they were in the Sudetenland and thus there were not a lot of folks still around who witnessed our encounter in Jan 1945. One other location was something around Dresden which seems too far from the site of our encounter to have been involved in our battle.

Again thanks for going to the trouble to locate these sites for me!

Cordially, Art Fiedler

It was requested that I attach the mission reports from the 325th FG for the 24, 28 of June 44 and 9 July. They are submitted as an attachment. I tried to OCR to copy them but they are too old to come out so I had to retype them. If there are any questions, please advise.

Cordially, Art Fiedler
