AEG C.IV Photos
Hello All,

Hi Clint
Initially the Polish AF used for quite some time the former identities of their aircraft, Out of 91 recorded AEG C.IV taken over only 12 received a "proper" Polish serial. Strangely enough 7123/17 was one of them, becoming 5.3 in 1919. Last recorded in use on 30 Jan 1920 Cheers Stig

I believe that the number before the 22/17 may be an 8 and the aircraft possibly C.4822/17. Any opinions? Regards, Clint

Luckily a much better photo exists of this aircraft which was lost on 17 Jan 1917

No, not necessarily. The serial number is so unclear that I can't see it properly.If you're fairly confident you're seeing 1742/16 then I'm happy to go with that. Perhaps even more so as I already have an image of 1724/17 but not 1742/17. Regards, Clint
