Re: Photos Avro Aircraft

Hello,

Currently on ebay is a photo of a AEF Avro 504K at:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/27495494303...c202%7Ciid%3A1

The number is not entirely clear but may be D9035 and the machine presumably of the AEF Third Instruction Centre at Issoudun.

Clint

Re: Photos Avro Aircraft

Hello,

Currently on ebay are two photos of Avro 504A, at least one of which is A8597 at:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/37376414834...MAAOSwC-NhcbuJ

The seller provides an informative caption and the aircraft is apparently from the Machine Gun School or one of its heirs.

Regards,

Clint

Re: Photos Avro Aircraft

Hello,

Currently on ebay is a photo of a Avro 504C, apparently from the batch 8574-8603,though the serial here is difficult to read.

Just call me Hawkeye Clint....

Joking aside, I think I can see the two last digits being 78 which sort of takes care of the rest.

Not 100% since the scan (or photo) is not great, but the best I can do!

Cheers
Stig
