Hi Alain,

According to my files, this happened on 12/12/1943 and only Erich Schulze was killed. The other crew members were injured and the aircraft damaged 70 %.

Re: Le Culot airfield Ju-88 ground looped

Hi Alain,

Looked up the page and found (as Montana says) 12-12-43 Ju 88 6/KG6 144593 Bruchldg. St. Culot FF Uffz Werner Trumpener, Uffz. Rudolf Backer, Bf Ogef Heinrich Siebert all inj. Bs Uffz Erich Shulze killed 44. In my last post it shows Uffz Werner Trumener killed on 24-8-44 however in the alphabetical lists Uffz Werner Trumpener is shown killed on 24-8-44 so it is the same pilot,

Regards

Hi Chris,

Can you tell me the name of the Spitfire pilot who claimed the Ju 188 near Chièvres and was shot down ? Is he a member of the 401 Squadron ?

Thanks.

Rgds.
