German losses on Norwegian west coast 1944

Where can I find info on German losses on the Norwegian west coast 1944. Particularly on F-W 190 during July to sept 1944

You can also search the Internet Archive machine for the luftwaffe.no pages:

Version of the 1943 losses webpage from 2017:
https://web.archive.org/web/20170211...ses/tap43.html
(note: despite the title, it lists also part of the losses of 1944 and 1945 with all known losses of 1943)

1944 losses webpage from 2015:
https://web.archive.org/web/20150529...ses/tap44.html

None of these fits the dates here, the first five is some thousand kilometers away, and the latest one is in winter time, when III./JG5 moved south.

The only thing that fits, is a transfer flight going north, but that was a loss of pilot, which does not seem like the case here.

Are we talking about a loss on land or at sea here?

Re: German losses on Norwegian west coast 1944

Regrettably you are right, no matches here.

We are talking about this incident http://forum.12oclockhigh.net/showthread.php?t=50131
I.e. a total loss of th plane, most likely a F-W 190 based on the parts found at the time. It landed/crashed at Harøy, which is abt 10-15 Miles SSW of Gossen airbase, the JG5 used this base at the time. The pilot was more or less unharmed.
Seem strange that there is no registration of this incident.

German records for this time are incomplete & you generally can only get those where the pilot is a casualty which according to you he was not

But there is a faint hope that there could have been a ULTRA-message concering a loss?
