Führungskette X Fliegerkorps

I'm looking for informations about the operations and aircraft of this unit.
According to Chris Goss in his excellent book on the FW 200 this kette sank nine ships during the Battle of Britain.

Thank you

Alain

Re: Führungskette X Fliegerkorps

I have analyzed the claims of this unit (He 111 by the way) and can identify and date 9 sunk and 10 damaged between 1 Mar and 13 Nov 40 plus a Walrus on 18 May 40. What do you want to know specifically?

If you're interested in what they were doing in 1942, read the bottom paragraph of this page http://www.ghostbombers.com/recon/Koch/koch_11.html, then follow the link in the text.

Alain: Apart from who flew with the unit (Kowalewski, Harlinghausen) and Kowalewski being wounded attacking SS Alexia on 11 Sep 40, there is little more to add for 1940 and you will have to wait for the results of my research being published shortly

See this thread from 2015 on the subject including one of Larry DeZeng's summarised unit histories.
