bv138 at Tromso summer 1945. i believe the arches in the background are the seaplane hanger at Tromso. I guess the sergeant is puncturing the fuselage to aid its sinking, no way to treat a historic aircraft!

on 10. May 1945.

1./N.A.Gr.32: Fi 156C-3 W.Nr. 5232
Verb.Staffel Norwegen: Fi 156C-3/trop W.Nr. 1150, Fi 156D-2 W.Nr. 275808, Si 204D-1 W.Nr. 322110.
Koflug Narvik: Fi 156C-3/trop W.Nr. 5540.
Höh.Kdo. 71 (SS) Fi 156C-3/trop W.Nr. 5541.
O.Qu.Reserve (normally aircraft in for repair): He 111H-3 W.Nr. 6930, Ju 88A-17 W.Nr. 2181, 550866, Ju 88A-4 W.Nr.3611, Ju 88D-1 W.Nr. 430580,
Ju 188F-1 W.Nr. 280066, 280208, Fi 156C-3/trop W.Nr. 4248, Fi 156C-2 W.Nr. 4487, Fw 58B-1 W.Nr. 58046, Fw 58C-2 W.Nr. 3112.

Bardufoss came under Allied control shortly after 9. May 1945 and aircraft were flown from other airfields to Bardufoss and vice-versa.

The Werk Nummern are given as reported by Leitende Ingenieur beim Oberquatiermeisert/Gen.d.dt.Lw. in Norwegen (Abwicklungsstab).

Many aircraft were not destroyed by RAF on site but was given further life in RAF and RNoAF service.

identified from a previous thread as ju88a-17 wk no 550866 1H+QN ex KG26. The car is a bmw 326 repainted light blue a given RAF number plates. Photo at Badufos summer 1945.
