Loss Ofw. Otto Hofstadt - Hohenmauth

On 25.12.1944 Oberfeldwebel Otto Hofstadt was killed in Hohenmauth (Czech Republic). I would like to know the unit he was with and the circumstances of his death. Until September 1944 he was still with I./ZG 26.

Thanks,

John.

Re: Loss Ofw. Otto Hofstadt - Hohenmauth

Hello John,

Ofw. Otto Hofstadt was killed in a takeoff accident in Fw 190F-8 WNr. 932622 near Vysoké Mýto (Hohenmauth in German). He was a member of 7./SG 151 at the time of his death.

Hope this helps,

Ota
