His first name is in the NVM Alfred and in the EM list Klaus-Dieter.

Flugzeugführer Lt Thoms, Alfred, +
Absturz um 12.45 Uhr am Platzrand infolge Motorschaden bei Wetterflug. Bruch 100 %.
