Designed and built in less than six months in a devastated Germany immediately after the First World War, its birth could not have been more difficult. Yet, within five years, this unassuming aircraft was serving three-quarters of all air routes within Europe, and went on to play a pioneering role in the development of a fledgling air transport industry in many parts of the world.

Distribution from the UK is the best option. Swedish and Norwegian postage rates, which are the alternatives, are much higher. Sweden to Europe is EUR 19 to 28 depending on type of packing.

Just received my copy and had a quick browse.

Looks great, comprehensive and authoritative, has nice photographs with detailed captions, a lovely colour section and so on....

A fitting tribute to an iconic aircraft!
