He 177 losses June 1944

Has anyone got any more information on the loss of a He 177 if 4/KG 40 on the 11.06.1944 at Neuf Castel with two crewmen injured. Also the loss of a 177 of 6/KG 40 on 13.06.1944 once again with two crew injured. There is a handwritten notation on the NVM between the two sets of names showing 'He 177 0221 70%' which I beleive refers to the 6th Staffel loss,

Brian: Unfortunately, KG 40's He 177 NVM were poor for this period. Looking at the handwritten note on my copy, I would not dare to say on way or the other!

Re: He 177 losses June 1944

Chris thanks for checking the Griehl/Dressel He 177 shows '550221-A5-13.06.44- 6/KG 40 - Bruch'. I hoped someone might have known whether this loss was the 12/13th or 13/14th June and a crash location. If the crash was 12/13th I could only find two RAF claims with one 15 miles N/E Le Harve while for the 13/14 of four clains one was reported as 17 miles ENE of Barfleur which i think is quite close to the previous nights location.
