19 June 40 St Nazaire
In Warship 2014 there is an article on the escape of the French battleship Jean Bart from St Nazaire. While getting underway at 0440 19 Jun 1940 the ship was attacked by 3 "Heinkel Bombers" and the ship was hit by a 100 kg bomb between the two main gun turrets. Does anyone know which Luftwaffe unit attacked this ship? Also right after the attack 3 Morane fighters showed up.
