This is a "fully revised, updated and significantly expanded" edition.

Dornier Do 335 Pfeil / Arrow

New Do-335 Reference (Out Soon)

It looks like Creek and Smith have been busy!

Dornier Do 335 Pfeil/Arrow
Hardcover – September 30, 2017
by Eddie Creek (Author), J. Smith (Author)

The authors have now fully revised, updated and significantly expanded their work (by approximately 80 pages) incorporating, in particular, over 150 additional rare photographs, diagrams and new material about the development, construction and flying of the '335' and the little-known projects and concepts it spawned. Backed up by superb color profile artwork and detailed line drawings, this book represents the finest research on this enigmatic aircraft.

Unfortunately I can not compare the two as I have never owned the original issue. I bought the book as a 'nice to have' rather than a need to have and as such it seems to be a good book. The paper and photo quality are the usual good standard for Classic editions and for an aircraft that never made it in to combat (or did it? the book does mention sightings by Allied pilots) there is a wealth of information. As usual there are plenty of photographs, technical/design drawings and colour profiles so something for everyone.

Does it have a number on the spine? I believe old version was number 13 in the series.
