Accoring some news sites the Antonov An-225 Mriya is destroyed in the war in the Oekraïne

I think it's a given. She was at Gostomel during the battle for Antonov airfield, based on flight tracking data.

I have seen a photo that allegedly shows the tail section of the An-225, with the suggestion that most of the aircraft survived, since the overhead view shows the tail is still supported by the fuselage.

However, on aviacionline, there is this statement:

"Update: The company, upon the appearance of the footage, indicated that it was not yet able to perform an inspection of the aircraft, so it decided not to validate what is observed in the images."

She's a confirmed loss, the whole of the front up to the wing is burned out.
