lancaster PB-137 15 Squadron

Hello,

I,m looking for information of Lancaster PB-137 15 Squadron.
This plane crashed on November 16th 1944 after a mission to Heinsberg-Germany.
I know that 7 crewmwmbers were KIA and 1 POW.

Were crashed this plane?
What was the cause of crash?

Michel,
Hit by flak and crashed near Unterbruch, 3 km NE of Heinsberg, 15.30h. Pilot PoW, rest of crew buried Rheinberg, initially buried at Unterbruch.

Wing Commander Watkins was the PoW and may have completed a Report once released in 1945 which could provide the details you seek.
If not a night fighter claim, then flak or more rarely weather or collision, either drom bombs dropped from above or another bomber.

in which POW Camp was Watkins?

This was the Master Bomber for the raid on Heinsberg.
