My good friend Max J. "Crash" Woolley (385th FS) is credited with... 4 P-38 losses.
Two c/l, plus one bailout (in a piggy-back). The last one was his bailout above Gembloux thanks to Flak on the 27th June 1944. He survived to tell the tale thanks to some Belgian helpers. He was not unlucky, just lucky... ClinA-78
