Re: RK PHOTOS

Gentlemen: Thank you so far so:

1. ?
2. Lippe-Weissenfeld?
3. Ibel (certainly looks like him if compared to the RK book)
4. Von Bonin
5. Doesn't look like Stumpff-all the photos I have of him show he had a moustache
6. Beckmann? I cannot make out that it is a transport spange though

Re: RK PHOTOS

5. To my eyes it does look like Stumpff, and the moustaches can be shaved off for the Ritterkreuz award ceremony, undoubtedly a special occasion.

Re: RK PHOTOS

Last one No. 10 is not Beckmann (no Tranportflieger-Spange), it is definitely WALTER GRABMANN.
008 far right with white uniform HEINRICH WITTMER.

Re: RK PHOTOS

Thanks Bakerman. Wittmer appears quite a bit in the other photos I have and is there far right in 5th photo. All that is now needed is who is 1, confirmation of 2 and 5

Re: RK PHOTOS

If my eyes do not deceive me, in the last photo the man is wearing a fighter clasp upside-down, which was something the ZG and Schlacht airmen did prior to their own specific clasps being available. Not sure if this narrows things down....

Re: RK PHOTOS

How about Wolfgang von Chamier-Glisczinski for #6?
Definitely Lippe-Weissenfeld for #2 and Stumpf for #5.

Re: RK PHOTOS

Not Chamier-Gliszinski-doens't look anything like him especially as he appears to have a scar below his right eye and would be wearing the WW1 EK 1 bar. Agree with 2 and the jury is still out for 5!

Re: RK PHOTOS

The "scar" below the eye is a crease from his usually present monocle. Its definetly not Wittmer, hairlines all wrong. And it's 10000% Stumpff, merely sans moustache.
