C-54A - 42-72171 - 28-8-1944
Looking for info on crash and casualties of a C-54A serial 42-72171 of Air Transport Command 28-8-1944 near Prestwick.
One of the fatal casualties was 2/Lt Vivianna Cronin of 818 Medical Air Evacuation Trnansport Squadron buried in the Cambridge US Mil. Cem. Regards and thanks in advance for your help. Henk. |

Golden was an American Airlines captain attached to Air Transport Command. He is on the long list of names in the dedication to Ernest K Gann's classic Fate is the Hunter.
