AIR14/2668 Night Bomb Raid Sheets Oct 1940

In the night from the first to second October 1940 at least nine 500 lbs GP-bombs plus more than 50 stick-type-incendiary bombs hit an open field between the villages Hellenhahn and Hoehn. This attack was most likely triggered by a fake airfield, which was installed west of the village of Hellenhahn. (To give a rough orientation, this AREA IS IN THE MIDDLE BETWEEN COLOGNE AND FRANKFURT, APPR. 50 MILES SOUTH OF THE RUHR-VALLEY).

The referring document is AIR14/2668 (Night Bomb Raid Sheets).
While it covers the whole month of October 1940, I actually need the Night Bomb Raid Sheets of Oct 1st and Oct 2nd, which I expect to be 10 -12 pages only.
These contain aircraft, groups, target attacked and bomb loads.
My hope is that an suspected airfield at roughly that location has been mentioned.

Thanks in advance for your kind support!

Best Regards,
TCO

Re: AIR14/2668 Night Bomb Raid Sheets Oct 1940

Hello TCO,

I've checked the Night Bomb Raid Sheets and here are all entries regarding airfields in Germany:

3 Group:
Stendal A/D 6x250 + 120x4 lbs. Bursts seen, no results
Wesel A/D 9x250 + 60x4 lbs. Bursts seen, but no results
Gelsenkirchen or Mülheim A/D 9x250 + 60x4 lbs on two large fires near A/D. No results seen.
Neubrandenburg A/D 3x500 + 120x4 lbs. Bursts seen, no results

5 Group
A/D 30 miles WNW Koln 5x500 lbs. Burst in S part of A/D but no fires or damage seen.

No entries for 2 and 4 Group dealing with A/D's in Germany.

Regards,
Hans
