Question Claims? by 4/JG77 on 03/01/44

Hello
I would like to know if the Gef.Ness,Fw.August each claimed a P-38....as no mention of them by T.Wodds and RL5/1446

Hi Michel,

While the clerk's scrawl is terrible, they are found in RL 5/1446 p. 0115 right side #4 & #5.

Hello Michel,

in Jagdfliegerverbände Vol. 14 page 372 is a claim list of II./JG 77. On 3 Jan 1944 two P-38s were shot down by Fw Paul August and Gefr Horst Nest, both 4./JG 77.

Regards
Leo

Thumbs up Re: Claims? by 4/JG77 on 03/01/44

Thanks guys!
Info in RL5/1446 is hard to read, often overexposed and scribble-like!

Michel
I've found that image-editing software can help in making the marks on the page more distinct. Whether you can then read the handwriting is another matter of course.
