What does the sign of yellow triangle ?
Hi all!
I am wondering if anyone can write me, what does the sign of yellow triangle with number 80 inside on fuselage of Ar 66 or Go 145 could mean? Thanks a lot. |

Re: What does the sign of yellow triangle ?
Hi.
A yellow triangle usually has the fuel type code on it. Not sure of the meaning of '80', though, but I am sure others on this board will definitely remark on my ignorance... Regards, Andreas |

Re: yellow triangle
80 would probably represent A3 fuel which was used in a lot of light aircraft (e.g. those with Argus engines) but doesn't get discussed much in a world hung up on high-performance fighters - for obvious reasons!
