Bf 109
Hello,
Any idea about this piece?
Made in aluminum in two parts welded, color gray-blue.
Height of about 10 cm, oval welded base of 7x8 cm, diameter small output of 2.5cm.

Une idée sur cette pièce?
Fabriquée en alu en deux parties soudées, couleur gris-bleu.
Hauteur d'environ 10 cm, base ovale soudée de 7x8 cm, diamètre petite sortie de 2.5cm.

Hi!

Two locations.

#1 - in lower cowling

#2 - in fuselage right below the Fuel Tank filling lines.

Early ones were made of aluminum, later ones were made of steel.

Two shapes - first type is a cone shape...second type is a cone shape with a tapered top (more like the shape of a light bulb or tulip)


The image from the manual I am showing is from the F manual...so that is the location for the F only. The location for the G-K model was back more, and right behind the radio rack
