Obfw. Werner Machold, JG2.

One of the leading Experten of the Battle of Britain was Obfw.Werner Machold of JG2.

Machold became a POW upon force-landing in Dorset, UK, after sustaining damage while attacking a Channel convoy on 9th June 1941.

Does anyone know what happended to him after the war ended, and is he still alive?

Thanks in anticipation,
Graham

Machold passed away 2 April 1968, as per Obermaier.
