Bf110 AE+SA crash on eBay

At eBay here there is a photo of a broken Bf110 showing the full stkz underwing as AE+SA. Are there any details on this crash?

I believe only the two middle letters were part of the Stkz. The A's were the aircraft's individual identification letters form the Vkz.

Re: Bf110 AE+SA crash on eBay

Hi all

I can only read three letters: E + AE, and I think, this is the Bf 110 E-1 / 3905 / TE + SA.
This plane belonged to I/ZG 26 (1941) and NJG 4 (1942).

best wishes

Dénes seems right on his thinking , we hv just 2 letters of the STKZ, the ones in the middle, the others 2 would hv to be placed where the ETC are fitted, external A , bigger is letter of the Unit-Kz

Hi Remi

It's possible, that the outer "A" was part of the VKZ, but I'm not sure.

best wishes

Jochen

Nothing is sure but usually the STKZ is applied at one time nd no need to hv small nd big letters, the STKZ hv is meaning in its complete form, but who knows...

My best wishes too, for a happy year

Remi
