Mistel Markings

Well, it is totally out of my research but for one article would like to know what markings worn Mistels. In one Flugbuch there are mentions about following Mistel markings:

training version (any given date which type): 56, 92, 93, RW100, RW 98
combat version (any given date which type): RW92.

They are given as Zulassungsnummer.

What could be for NUmbers? Numbers of "bomber-missile"?

What could stand up for RW?

Any idea?

Thanks for help.

Re: Mistel Markings

Not much but RW stands for "Reparaturwerkstatt", a sort of works conversion number.
Each completed Mistel was assigned such a number

Re: Mistel Markings

Guys

Looking in Forsyth's Mistel book it seems it was the Fw 190 that received the marking. There were many captured ones having this number while sitting on top of a Ju 88, such as 50, 87, 90 and 97.

Cheers
Stig

Re: Mistel Markings

On some log-books this mark appeared on the Ju88, mainly Ju88G-1 in the 713XXX range

Re: Mistel Markings

Related to that thread I found something more, NERO dn RW + Fw190a-6 Wn, so seems that Nero is relating to the upper craft, but why RW too... ??
