RFI German aircrew WWII KG 54 and KG 2

Hi all,

Does anyone know what happened with the following aircraw please:

KG 2:

Uffz Johann RULFS
Uffz Helmut GLASER
Uffz Karl GASSER
Uffz Fritz WIELAND

Those 4 NCO's were part of the 9./KG 2 and were taken POW in May 1940. After the Belgian capitulation they were freed by German troops.
Does anyone know what happend with them? Sadlly enough I do not have any more information regarding those 4 NCO's.

KG 54:

Hptm Fritz STADELMAYR
KIA June 22nd, 1941 in RUSSIA. Does anyone know which unit he was serving with? Before he served with the 8./KG 54.

Fw Oskar WOLF
WIA and taken POW during May 1940 whilst serving with 8./KG 54. After the Belgian capitulation freed by German troops. Does anyone know what happend with him?

Thanks in advance guys (and ladies),

KInd regards,

Frank

Chris,

Small question. You speak as Stadelmayr as Gr Kdr II./KG 51 but are you sure that this is the same Fritz STADELMAYR which I'm talking about? I had that name too but what I have is Hptm Max STADELMEIER?

Greetings,

Frank

That is what I have for 22 Jun 41. The 8/KG 54 Stadelmayr was with 8 Staffel until July 40

Re: RFI German aircrew WWII KG 54 and KG 2

Hi again Chris,

I looked again and those two men are totaly different.

I know that Hptm Fritz Stadelmayr was Staffelkapitän of the !./KG 54 and that he was s/d on May 10 1940 and taken POW. He was in a hospital and freed by German troops. From there on I have a gap until he was killed on June 22 1941 in Russia. So I'm trying to find out what unit he belonged to at the time of his death.

Cheers,

Frank
