Re: Help for Identification

Harrison987,

I think there is a confusion between:

(i) the parts shown by Rolf (start of the thread) and

(i) the ones showed by Archeavion (the latches), which were put there only to help.

if I understand correctly, the two family of parts don't come from the same crash place.

GC

Re: Help for Identification

Happy to tell what I know.
Plane was shot down Oct. 20th 44 and was piloted by W. Sommer, JG 76.
Plane crashed in a forest in Black Forest, South Germany.
There was no crash of a FW 190 in the surrounding to my knowledge.
Therefore it seems quite strange to find relics from different planes.
But would be happy to understand more details about the parts shown in the pics.
Thanks a lot
Rolf

Re: Help for Identification

Excuse me if I have caused confusion. I just wanted to show what it was like in these parts "better condition". There is no link between the two crash.
My picture shows pieces from a crash occurred in Normandy and respect a Fw190A.
Cordially.

Cordialement.
