Re: loss 61 Sqn Lancaster W5000 2-3 August 1943

Hello Jens-Michael,
I know this paper from Luftgaukommando XI, but the investigation
at the crashsite result in a different picture. We found parts with R3,
that means Avro Lancaster and we found a part of a machine gun which was painted with W5000 . The official message only reports:
3.8. 02.02 Uhr 1. Feindflugzeug Flak 2 km ostw. Nindorf (not Niendorf).

Best wishes
Padu
